We are now accepting submissions for the 13th Annual Dr. Mark C. Smith Poetry Contest! This contest is open to all Framingham Public School system students in grades K-12. There will be at least one winner per grade level. The prize is a certificate and an age appropriate poetry anthology and the opportunity to participate in an evening celebration in May.
We are hoping to have entries from every school, so help spread the word! Poems may have been written any time during this school year. Poems may be written in class, at home, in response to an assignment or in a student's free time. Poems may be written in any language (please provide translations.) Middle and high school entries should be typed. Please make sure that each entry includes the student’s full name, grade, school and teacher on the back!
Submissions may be sent to the Framingham Education Foundation mailbox at the Perini Building, Suite 5, via the F.P.S. pony, or mailed to FEF at P.O. Box 3287, Framingham, MA 01705. Entries should be received no later than Thursday, April 13th, 2017. (Poems need to arrive at the Perini building by April 13th). If you have any questions, please e-mail us at framinghamedfoundation@live.com.
